Teenage Students Raising Hands

Made by young people, for young people, the Curriculum For Life Award Scheme is designed to help students thrive in the real world. By encouraging schools to teach important life skills, we can ensure that every young person starts adult life on the right foot. The Award Scheme has been handcrafted by a committed team of UK secondary school students and includes subjects such as voting, budgeting, first aid, mental health, and applying for jobs.

We recognise that there are many different ways of teaching a Curriculum For Life, so as long as it equips their students with skills for life beyond the classroom, secondary schools and colleges can apply for their existing curriculum to receive an Award. And if you’ve never taught a Curriculum For Life before, our dedicated team of young people will be there for you every step of the way, providing resources and guidance to help support your new curriculum.
